Dear Carmel-by-the-Sea Rotary Members:

The Carmel High Interact Club is assembling 50 care packages for the local Monterey homeless, some of which are former Carmel students. Our members will be personally handing each one out during a Saturdaychurch event. We organized this project last year and it was a huge success, both for our community and for the students who were able to be a part of this amazing opportunity.
The Interact Club has been fortunate to receive donations from the Carmel-by-the-Sea Rotary Club every year, but undertakings of this magnitude deplete our resources quickly, which is why we are humbly asking each member for their help. We have made a wish-list of an array of essentials and basic foods. All we hope is that each of you will consider buying a small item or sharing our message; these contributions add up rapidly! Furthermore, anything leftover will be given to This Club Saves Lives for their 100 Lunches project during WE Day–an unparalleled celebration of young people committed to making a difference–in Los Angeles.
We are all so thankful for how much we’ve been given already, and we hope that you’ll help us continue to make a positive impact on our community by taking a look here: http://a.co/99sYGkL. If there is something else you feel would be significant to include in the care packages, or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at qhendricks@cusd.me or dgovan@carmelunified.org.
Best Regards,
Quincy Hendricks
Interact Club President
